Jerry Lynn Crowe, 58, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 at his home in Jackson. Graveside services were held Sunday, Nov. 29, at Unity Cemetery in Chester County with Aaron and Amanda Crabb officiating.
He was born in Jackson Nov. 2, 1962, son of the late Jerry Thomas and Martha Middleton Crowe. As a young child, his family lived in Madison County, the Rocky Springs Community and at Bemis. The family moved to Jacks Creek in 1969 where they worked in the family barbeque business with his grandfather, Van Crowe, and later became successor owners and operators. He graduated from Chester County High School in 1981 and then Freed-Hardeman University.
After college he began employment at City Florist in Jackson where he was employed until his death. He was well liked by his many customers and was known for his creative and uniquely designed floral arrangements.
He had a heart of gold, a contagious smile and a genuine love for people. His faith and commitment to Jesus showed in everything he did. He had numerous friends and a loving church family. He was a faithful and dedicated member of Restoring Hope Church in Hendersonville. He was especially attached to his “adopted” nephews, Skyler Adam Wilhite and Mason Lee Wilhite.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas Joe Crowe.
