JESSICA SANDERS Obituary – Nov. 19, 1984 – April 25, 2021

Jessica Lenora Sanders, 36, of Medon passed away at her home Sunday, April 25, 2021. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Crook Avenue with Christopher Kitchen officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery. The family received friends at Crook Avenue from 5-9 p.m. Sunday.
She was born Nov. 19, 1984 in Jackson and grew up in Chester County in the Five Points Community. She is the daughter of Faye Burkeen Potter and William Earl Sanders. She graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 2003 and attended Tennessee Technology at McKellar.
She worked at Hudson Drugs in Bolivar and later at Fred’s Pharmacy as a pharmacy tech. She enjoyed boating at the river and going to concerts.
She is survived by her mother, Faye (Ralph) Burkeen Potter of Pinson; her father, William (Carolyn) Earl Sanders of Toone; step-brothers, Randall Potter, Randy Smith and Rocky Smith; a grandmother, Georgia Burkeen of Pinson; and her life partner of 22 years James Hart of Toone.
