Josephine Canciamilla Obituary – Aug. 1, 1941 – May 24, 2020

Mrs. Josephine (Hoover) Canciamilla, 78, of Jacks Creek died Sunday Morning at Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Henderson. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 29, at the church and then from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.
She was born Aug. 1, 1941 in Aransas Pass, Texas, daughter of the late Sam and Sinthia Martin Hoover. She grew up in San Jose, Calif.
She married Richard Canciamilla on Aug. 15, 1959, and they initially made their home in San Jose. During their marriage, they also lived in Colorado, Indiana and Tennessee. They moved to Jacks Creek three years ago. She was a homemaker and loved raising her children. She enjoyed knitting and sewing. She was a member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Henderson.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Anthony Canciamilla; two sons, Richard (Patricia) Canciamilla of Jacks Creek and Samuel Canciamilla of Greeley, Colo.; three daughters, Victoria Canciamilla and Renee (George) Gardiola, both of Greeley, Colo., and Andrea (Marco) Solorio of Jackson; 17 grandchildren, Tiffany, Elizabeth, Daniel, J.R., Priscilla, Joshua, Miranda (Chris), David (Amanda), Timothy, Jerome (Megan), Andrew, Leah (Danny), Rebecca, Crystal, Anthony, Benjamin (Melodie) and Nathaniel;  31 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy Hoover of Atwater, Calif.; five sisters, Wynona Sepulvea, Barbara Beltran and Yolonda Hoover, all of Tucson, Ariz., Brenda Prieto of Riverton, Utah, and Sandra Hoover of Atwater, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Timothy Hoover; and two sisters, Patty Tarvits and Betty Bacosa.
