Judy Jones ‘Nana’ Morris Obituary – Feb. 22, 2020

Judy Kay Jones Morris, 65, of Henderson died Saturday morning Feb. 22, 2020.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors Crook Avenue with Brother Ken Kitchen officiating.
Burial followed at New Friendship Cemetery.
The family received friends at Shackelford Crook Avenue from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
She was born and reared in Chester County the daughter of the late Marvin Jones and Ora Bell Henley Jones Young. She attended Chester County schools and married Tony Morris in 1975.
They made their home in the Five Points Community since 1989. She was retired from Merry Maids. She loved her granddaughter and her nieces and nephews, whom she devoted much time and love to. They affectionately called her “Nana.” She enjoyed arranging flowers. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Dewayne ‘Tony’ Morris; a son, Danny Morris both of Beech Bluff; one granddaughter, Briana Morris; a brother, Jerry Jones of Dyersburg; one sister, Linda Chatman of Mississippi; and nieces and nephews to include Elizabeth Slayton who provided care for Judy.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and step-father, Houston Young.
