JUNIOR MOORE Obituary – Aug. 19, 1942 – Feb. 8, 2022

Carnell Junior Moore, 79, of Henderson passed away Feb. 8, 2022 at his home. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Brent Daniel officiating. Burial followed in Sweetlips Cemetery. The family received friends at Crook Avenue from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday.
He was born Aug. 19, 1942 in Enville the son of the late Carnell and Ada Gatley Moore. He grew up in Chester County.
He drove for the ambulance service for a time. He then worked as custodian for Chester County Board of Education at North Chester School.
Then he worked for Lofton Chevrolet for 16 years, retiring in 2004. He married Carla Kennedy on Nov. 12, 1982. They made their home in Chester County. He enjoyed riding bikes and working on cars. He attended the Jacks Creek Apostolic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Dianne Kennedy Moore of Henderson; a son, Jason (Falon) Moore of Collierville; and three grandchildren, Jason Hunter Moore, Jacie Lynn Moore and Jance Gatley Moore.
