Larry Lambert, 74 Years, 4 Months, 13 Days, departed this life on Feb. 12, 2023 in Bethel Springs.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Feb. 15 at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Randy Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Lake Hill Memorial Gardens at Bethel Springs.
He was born Sept. 30, 1948 in McNairy County, the son of the late Hollis Junior Lambert and Sarah Mae Kirk Lambert.
He was united in marriage to Brenda Kaye White on May 14, 1966. Mrs. Lambert preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2020.
He served his country in the 2nd Brigade, 24th Infantry Division in United States Army. After the Army, he continued school where he earned various degrees. He used his education to work drawing blueprints, wiring homes, etc. He primarily worked as a tool and dye maker for many years. He enjoyed tinkering with all types of items he would find at yard sales, flea markets or auctions. Those things kept him busy. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by his family as well as a host of extended family and friends.
He is survived by two sons, Greg (Sondra) Lambert of Adamsville and Dale (Angie) Lambert of Corinth, Miss.; three grandchildren, Wayne (Savannah) Lambert, Kayla Lambert and Ethan Lambert; great-grandchildren, Ellanor Lambert and Karson Jones; and brothers-in-law, Johnny Gallbraith and Jerry (Carolyn) White.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a sister, Betty J. Lambert Galbraith.
