Larry Wayne Price, 76 Years, 1 Month, 21 Days, departed this life on Sept. 11, 2022 in Memphis.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 15 at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with John Chandler officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lake Hill Memorial Gardens at Bethel Springs.
He was born July 21, 1946 in McNairy County, the son of the late Arvy D. Price and Ollie Smith Price.
He started Selmer Small Engine in 1969. He later owned a John Deere and Kubota Dealership. He started Cars for Kids in 1990.
He had many stories to tell who had a great love for his community and his family.
He is survived by a daughter, Shelley (Richard) Emison of Henderson; one son, Chad Price of Selmer; four grandchildren, Paisley Emison, Kason Emison, Kallen Emison and Chanley Grace Price; a sister, Quinice Tull of Selmer; one brother, John Price of Selmer; a host of nieces and nephews; and his companion of 22 years, Nola Mendenhall
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Murray on Oct. 18, 1999; and two brothers, Melvin and Ernest Price.
