Lesta Shannon Obituary – March 14, 1926 – Feb. 3, 2022

Lesta Mae Paulk Shannon of Saltillo passed away Feb. 3, 2022 at her home. There will be no services.
She was born in Memphis March 14, 1926, daughter of the late John Lester and Maggie Mae Webb Paulk. She grew up in Memphis and graduated from Central High School in 1944.
She married George Shannon Dec. 4, 1945, and they made their home in Memphis. He preceded her in death in 2004.
She worked as a secretary for all of her career.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Johnson of Saltillo and Kay Ford of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Sara (Timmy) Hodge and Matthew Johnson; and four great-grandchildren, Zac, Kaleigh, Jacob and Landen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Harry Allen Paulk; and sisters, Jane Nunnelee and Jean Davis.
