LEWIS D. THOMAS Obituary – Aug. 30, 1942 – May 13, 2021

Lewis David Thomas, 78, of Henderson passed away May 13, 2021 at his home in Nashville. Graveside services were 5 p.m. Sunday at Chester County Memory Gardens with Bro. Michael Rickenbaker officiating. The family received friends at the cemetery beginning at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
He was born Aug. 30, 1942 in Chester County, the son of the late Jess Leo and Ninnie Flois Smith Thomas. He graduated from Chester County High School and in 1978 married Diane Kinchen. They made their home in Henderson until they moved to Nashville in 2020 to be near their daughters.
He farmed and raised cattle and hogs. He worked on the assembly line at Quality Manufacturing Company until 2000 and also worked for Premier Manufacturing retiring in 2015.
He was a member of the Henderson Masonic Lodge and a member of the Life Change Pentecostal Church in Franklin. They were members of Christ Community Church of Henderson prior to moving to Nashville.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Kinchen Thomas of Nashville; two daughters, Cristi (Aaron) Brown of Nashville and Candace Thomas of Nashville; two grandchildren; Calem Brown and Jillian Brown; and a sister, Nancy (G.W.) Rush of Jacks Creek.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Thomas and Jackie Thomas, and two sisters, Martha Ann Thomas and Georgia Faye Scarbrough.
