Martha Ann Robison Patterson, 84, of Finger passed away Nov. 15, 2023, at Park Rest Hardin County Health Center. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial followed at Finger Cemetery. The family received friends at East Main from 5-8 p.m. on Friday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Special Olympics or Autism awareness.
She was born Feb. 9, 1939, in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Lawrence Winford and Sue Alice Hampton Robison. She grew up in McNairy County and was a 1957 graduate of Bethel Springs High School. She married Kenton Patterson on Nov. 24, 1960. They made their home in Finger. She did factory work at Brown Shoe, American Olean Tile and Neo Products. She enjoyed the outdoors, yardwork, gardening, sewing, canning, cooking, and especially loved spending time with her family. Mr. Patterson preceded her in death in March 2006.
She is survived by a son, Terry Patterson of Finger; two daughters, Tonya (Steven) Leyh of Finger and Tammy (Jamie) McDonald of Finger; two brothers, Ronnie Robison of Jackson and Ricky Robison of Illinois; grandchildren, Britney Ervin, Colton McDonald, Laura Blackwell, Breanna Snader and MaKinley Eaton; and great-grandchildren, Isabella Bryant, Rayven Bryant, Kira Blackwell, Korbin Blackwell, Atlas Ervin, Brandon Hughes, Jr. and Hadleigh Mae Hughes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Larry Robison, Jerry Lee Robison and Hal Robison; and two sisters, RaNell Lay and Peggy Cox.
