During the City of Henderson’s Industrial Development Board meeting Wednesday, Dec. 13, Mayor Bobby King and the board honored Joe Pevahouse for serving on the industrial board for 60 years. Pevahouse was originally named to the board when it was formed in 1963. The board presented him with a plaque recognizing his service to Henderson. It reads: “City of Henderson would like to express our gratitude for your service to the community by serving on the City of Henderson Industrial Development Board since its formation in August of 1963. Thank you for your guidance and leadership. Your loyalty and hard work have greatly contributed to the success of the City of Henderson.” Pictured are Mayor Bobby King (left) along with City of Henderson Industrial Development Board Chairman Cecil Hearn (right) as they present Pevahouse (center) with the plaque.
