Randy Sells Obituary – JAN. 13, 2022

John Randy Sells, 65, of Henderson passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with Glenn Harris and Joey Harris officiating. Burial followed at New Friendship Cemetery. The family received friends at Crook Avenue from 9-11 a.m. service time on Saturday.
He was born and reared in Henderson, the son of the late John David and Joann Hart Sells. He attended Chester County Schools.
He worked at Olean Tile in Jackson, A&A Express and later for Grissom Farms. He married June Mooney in 1998, and they made their home at Mifflin.
He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He enjoyed drag racing and car shows and going to the river. He had coached Dixie Youth ball.
He is survived by his wife, June Mooney Sells; four sons; Joe (Briley) Sells of Jackson, Shane (Tina) Clayton of Henderson, Brandon (Mary) Sells of Jackson and Justin (Jennifer) Clayton of Henderson; special daughter, Felicia Carter of Savannah; sister, Sheila Bedwell of North Carolina; and seven grandchildren, Jayce, Aria, Sarah, Laila, Corbin, Angel and Jacob.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
