Robert Earvin Russell, 76, transitioned on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 at the Hardin County Medical Center.
He was born to Johnnie and Mabel Russell in the heart of Hardin County, Savannah. He was beloved and gave his all to his family, friends and whatever he laid his hands to.
He is survived by his children, Micheal (Linda) Russell, Gwendolyn Russell, Michelle Donaldson, Christopher (Missy) Russell, Gregory (Rachel) Russell and Shayla Russell; siblings, Francis Burge, Oscar (Debra) Russell, Eugene (Lois) Russell; a host of grandkids, Tymaisha, Soteria, Christopher, Corey, Kyan, Trinity, Jordan, Noah, Aubrie, and Layton; and friends and coworkers to cherish his memory and laughter upon this Earth.
He is preceded by parents, Johnnie and Mabel; two brothers, Harold and Junior; and his wife, Anna.
Home going celebration will commence on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Shackelford Funeral Directors, (731) 925-4000: 450 Church Street, Savannah TN 38372, Morning Visitation will be 9 a.m. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. The family and friends would like to acknowledge their deepest heartfelt appreciation for all the prayers, flowers, gifts and acts of kindness and sympathy during this time of great loss in the absence of our cherished loved one.
