Ronnie Barnes Obituary – Nov. 5, 1945 – April 28, 2020

Ronnie Alvin Barnes, 74 Years, 5 Months, 23 Days, departed this life on April 28, 2020 in McNairy County Health and Rehab Center in Selmer.
A private graveside service will be held at Lake Hill Memorial Gardens in Bethel Springs with Bro. Eric Jones officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
He was born Nov. 5, 1945 in McNairy County, the son of the late Thomas Alvin Barnes and Mamie Sue Kennedy Barnes.
He worked at the McNairy County General Hospital in Selmer for 40 years.
He is survived by two sisters, Mary Kathryn Barnes of Henderson and Peggy Jean Locke of Ramer; special friends, Gale Sculley of Corinth, Miss., and Barbara Forsyth of Selmer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruth Laverne Cupples; one brother, R.C. Howell; and a special friend, Tom Wallace.
