SHELLY WEST Obituary – Oct. 1, 1969 – Dec. 13, 2020

Shelly Renee Kirkpatrick West, 51, of Henderson passed away Dec. 13, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue. Burial will follow in Parkburg Cemetery at Pinson. The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue from noon until service time at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Memorials may be made to WRAP, 512 Roland Avenue, Jackson, TN 38301.
She was born Oct. 1, 1969, in Jackson, the daughter of James Murphy Kirkpatrick and the late Joyce Yevonne Hopper Williams. She graduated from Jackson Central Merry in 1987. She attended Jackson State Community College. She did clerical and secretarial work. She also was assistant manager of the Marriott Hotel and then in the medical field. She was an appointment manager with West Tennessee Healthcare.
She loved her cats, family and music. Prince was her favorite musician.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Howard “Tim” West of Henderson; a son, Aaron Ewing of Knoxville; her father, James Murphy Kirkpatrick; one sister, Tara Gwen Kirkpatrick of Henderson; and her mother-in-law, Nancy West of Pinson
