TIM LANDERS Obituary – MARCH 22, 1967 – NOV. 18, 2021

Timothy Alan Landers, 58, of Henderson passed away Thursday evening at his home.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson – East Main Chapel with Larry Rose officiating.
Burial followed in Deanburg Cemetery. The family received friends at East Main Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
He was born March 22, 1967 in Memphis, son of the late Tommy Landers and Sandra Barnes Landers. He grew up in Memphis and attended Frayser High School and graduated from Gateway Baptist Christian School in 1985.
He worked for Duro Bag in Jackson for 17 years as a machine operator and was Supervisor when he retired due to health reasons.
He liked hunting, fishing and traveling and was a sports enthusiast, especially a Memphis Tiger fan. He loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed as a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Landers of Henderson; daughters, Briana and Megan Landers of Covington; two step-daughters, Kayla (Billy) Hugerford and Ashley Hollingshead both of Jackson; a stepson, Patrick (Chastity) Hollingshead of Jackson; two brothers Mike (Ruth) Landers and Mark (Renee) Landers both of Deanburg; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Mark David Landers.
