Vicki Phillips Obituary – Sept. 30, 1955 – Dec. 26, 2022

On Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, Vicki Lynn Williams Phillips passed on to her eternal reward to join her Lord, her only son,and her parents.
The family receives visitors at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel from noon-2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31. The funeral immediately followed in the chapel at 2 p.m. with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating. Interment was at Big Springs United Methodist Church in Pinson.  
She was born on Sept. 30, 1955 to Billy Gene and Minnie Pearl Hurst Williams and raised in the Five Points Community. After graduating from South Side High School in 1973, she later married.  In 1977, she was blessed with her true love in her son, Stephen Wesley. Despite the end of her marriage, she continued to spend the next 39 years dedicating her life to make Stephen’s life as memorable as possible until his passing in 2016.
 She truly touched an innumerable amount of lives in her short 67 years. As a licensed practical nurse, she cared for a wide range of patients for over 40 years. Up until days before her passing, she strived to provide her patients with uniquely personal care to make them feel treasured and important.
 She is survived by her nephew, Josh (Amber) Williams of Henderson; her niece, Julie (Chris) McKee of Medina; her sister-in-law, Karen (Doug) Leath of Lexington; her brother, Billy Williams of Medina; and her great-nephews and great-niece, Jaxon Young, Cole Williams and Harmony McKee.
