Weronika Grandelick Tacker, 74, of Henderson passed away Oct. 31, 2022 at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Chaplin Brent Pearce officiating. Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue from noon-2 p.m. Saturday.
She was born Feb. 2, 1948 in Warsaw, Poland. She attended school in Poland and moved to Chicago in 1965 and married Bobby Gene Tacker in October 1967. She graduated from Capri Cosmetology School in Chicago. She owned and operated her own shop, Golden Villa Coiffeurs. She suffered a stroke at the age of 46 while living in Bridgefield, Ill. She and Bobby moved to Henderson in 2005. After becoming disabled she loved to collect dolls, having a collection of over 500 porcelain dolls. She was an excellent beautician. She was Catholic in belief.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Gene Tacker of Henderson.
